2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to anyone who uses the site: when you read it, write to us through a form, subscribe to the news, donate or sign up for an event. By using the site, you agree to them.
What data you give us and what we do with it is set out separately, in the Privacy policy.
3. The site’s content and copyright
The works on the site belong to the artists who made them: the copyright in them is the artists’. The texts, photographs and videos belong to Asociația Vizibil or to their authors.
You may share links to any page and quote briefly from the texts, naming the source. For any other use of the images of the works, of the photographs or of the texts, for example to print them, publish them elsewhere or use them commercially, write to us first: we reply once we have spoken with the artist or the author.
4. Using the site
Through the site’s forms you write to us, propose a partnership, offer to volunteer or subscribe to the news. Please give us true details and do not send abusive, advertising or automated messages: we may stop submissions that break these rules.
5. Donations
You donate online, through the site’s support buttons: they take you to our payment platform, where you choose the amount and fill in your details. The donation goes to Asociația Vizibil and supports its work: the workshops, exhibitions and meetings in which the artists’ works reach the public. You receive the confirmation by e-mail.
Card payments are processed by Stripe, into the association’s account; your card details do not reach us.
A donation is not a sale: you receive nothing in return, and the right of withdrawal does not apply to it. If you donated by mistake, for example a different amount from the one you meant, write to us as soon as you can and we will find a solution together.
A company that wants to support us writes to us through the partnership form; a sponsorship is made under a separate contract.
6. Event registrations and tickets
For some events you sign up or buy a ticket from the event’s page, which takes you to our payment platform. The event’s page gives the date, the place and, if there is one, the ticket price.
A free registration keeps a place for you. Places are few, so please let us know if you can no longer come.
Tickets are paid for by card and sent by e-mail, in your name. At the entrance, you give your name. If we cancel or move the event, we let you know by e-mail and refund your ticket in full if you cannot come on the new date.
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to tickets for events on a fixed date (Article 16(l) of OUG 34/2014, Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014).
7. Our liability
We do our best to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date. An event’s date, time and place may change; when they do, we change them on its page and, if you have signed up or have a ticket, we let you know by e-mail.
The site links to other sites, such as YouTube, Instagram or ANPC. We are not responsible for their content; you use them under their own rules.
The site may be unavailable for a while, for example while we update it. We do all we can to keep that short.
8. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
If you are unhappy with anything about the site, a donation or an event, write to us by e-mail and we will reply as soon as we can, within the time limit set by law.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you can turn to ANPC (the National Authority for Consumer Protection), including through the alternative dispute resolution procedure (SAL).
9. Changes
When we change these terms, we publish the new version here. A donation, a registration or a ticket stays under the terms in force on the day you made it.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. As a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.
