Untitled
Sebastian Terec

This work, very characteristic of Sebastian, shows a “house of the soul”, simplified, without doors or windows. It stands for an inner space that can open only with time. By reducing the house to a warm mass of colour, Sebastian creates an image that recalls the style of Mark Rothko, where architectural forms become pure fields of colour and feeling. The work invites us to ask whether the living landscape is the outside world or, in fact, a reflection of the inner one.

Painting · attachment to nature
Sebastian paints out of his attachment to nature. Warm colours and welcoming spaces are his way of bringing calm and balance to the canvas.
